Annina Marino of Rockledge, Pennsylvania passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at her home. She was 96 years old. She was born January 1, 1924 in Collevecchio, Abruzzo, Italy, to loving parents Pietro Coruzzi and Giovannella Coruzzi (nee - Marchegiani). In 1949, she married Guerino Marino and came to the United States. She was the cherished mother of Marjorie Morris and her husband Joseph, John and the late George Marino. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was the sister of the late Lucia, Paolo, twins Antonio and Assunta, Giuseppe, Assuntina, Donato, and Maria Assunta.
She will always be remembered for kind heart, generosity, sense of humor, exceptional Italian cuisine, and making her home the house of friendly greetings. All were welcome.
Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing on Monday, June 8, 2020 from 9:00 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. at St. Hilary of Poitiers Church, 820 Susquehanna Road, Rydal, PA 19046. Her entombment followed at Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046.
Religious services were conducted by Father Lucas from St. Cecilia Church.
