Theresa P. Masur of Meadowbrook, Pennsylvania, formerly of Flowers Mill in Langhorne, died Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Manor. She was 87 years old. Theresa was born March 7, 1933 in Starçevo, Yugoslavia, daughter of the late Lorenc Pittmann and the late Barbara Pittmann (nee - Rausch). She is the beloved wife of the late Ferdinand Masur; loving mother of Ernst Masur and Barbara Kulp; adored grandmother of Benjamin and his wife Kelly, Matthew and his wife Lauren, and Timothy and his wife Katie; great grandmother of Keegan, Brinley. Maeve, Gemma, and Matilda. She was predeceased by her sister Rosa Petri (nee Pittmann).

Theresa immigrated to the United States from Germany in June 1956. She and her husband lived in Philadelphia and moved to Ohio for a short time before moving back to Philadelphia. She was a long time member of the Danube Swabian Association of Philadelphia and Past President of the Women’s Auxiliary. Theresa was also a long time member of a German women’s choir known as the Damenchor Heimat-Echo. Theresa enjoyed gardening, sewing, and singing. She was part owner of a clothing manufacturer, Double M, in Philadelphia. Starting as a seamstress and working her way up to ownership.

Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing on Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 9:30 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 10:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Grace Church, 225 Bellevue Avenue, Penndel, PA 19047. Her graveside service followed at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, 1215 Super Highway, Langhorne, PA 19047.

Religious services were conducted by Rev. Cesar Javier Izaguirre-Gonzalez from Our Lady of Grace Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Department 142, Memphis, TN 38148 or Holy Redeemer Hospice - Holy Redeemer Health Systems, 521 Moredon Road, Second Flr., Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.
