Mabel Margaret Curran of Hatboro, Pennsylvania died Friday, November 6, 2020 at her home. She was 97 years old. Mabel was born March 21, 1923 in Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Geo Schaeffer and the late Mary Winter. She is the wife of the late William Curran. Survived by William’s children and their families, beloved companion Harle Brooks, and her two best friends Gary and Joan Hartzell.
Mabel was a graduate of Abington Nursing School on April 1, 1944. She went on to work for Abington Hospital for 43 years as a registered nurse.
Services were private due to Covid-19 restrictions.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Abington Health Foundation, 1200 Old York Road, Abington, PA 19001 for the Asplundh Cancer Pavilion.
