George C. Praediger, a lifelong resident of Rockledge, Pennsylvania, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at his home. He was 70 years old. George was born February 14, 1954 in Rockledge, Pennsylvania, son of the late George B. Praediger Jr. and the late Elizabeth Praediger (nee - Knowles). He is the beloved husband of Robin Praediger; loving father of Conrad (Lisa) Praediger, Aaron (Marianne) Praediger, and Nick Praediger; stepfather of Ian (Megan) Figueroa, Carmen (Sean) Taylor, and Rachael Figueroa (Julian Chavous); and grandfather of 11. He is also survived by his brother Harold (Linda) Praediger, and mother-in-law Arlene Feinman, as well as many brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

George was a contractor and a carpenter, and owned his own business for many years. He also worked for the Rockledge Borough Crew for numerous years, and had served as a Rockledge Councilman. George loved sports, and was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. George loved bowling, and spent most of his time on bowling teams. George adored watching his grandchildren play sports. Above all else, George loved and cherished his family.

Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing on Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 10:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. and funeral service at 12:00 P.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046. His graveside service followed at Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046. His family requested that everyone attending come in casual attire, preferably in Eagles and/or Phillies gear.
