Donna Marie Antony of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died unexpectedly on Friday, February 23, 2024. She was 68 years old. Donna was born on March 11, 1955 in Union, New Jersey, daughter of the late Edward R. Capista and the late Mary A. Capista (nee - Russoniello). She is the beloved wife of Paul Antony; mother of Danielle Lattin and her husband Jonathan; sister of Edward, Carl, Paul, and Lu-Ann; and the sister-in-law of Greg and Barbara. She is also survived by her nephews John, Michael and Christian; and her nieces Alexandra, Jaclyn, Meredith (Jane), and Samantha; and her great nephews Everett and Teddy and her great nieces Sofie and Lena.

Donna grew up in Union, NJ, where she attended Union High School. She received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kean University and her master’s degree in management from The New School in New York City.

Donna and Paul met while working together at JP Morgan Chase. They were married on March 30, 1985 in Brooklyn, NY. They moved shortly after to Delaware where they raised their daughter. Donna had a long career with J. P. Morgan Chase, retiring after 35 years with the bank.

Donna may have retired from banking but she was not one to stay still. Donna volunteered at The Wardrobe and the main branch of the Free Library of Philadelphia. In her free time, she was an avid walker, skier, and enjoyed traveling with Paul, especially to National Parks. Throughout her life, Donna also enjoyed sewing, which she learned from her Aunt Lena, including making clothing, costumes and Eagles gear (a team she truly loved). She loved the whole family get-togethers in the summer at the Outer Banks in North Carolina. The time spent with family and friends always involved Donna organizing and playing all sorts of games to everyone’s delight. She was the glue that held the family together. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. The first viewing took place at 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. with a time for sharing remembrances of Donna beginning around noon. A second viewing was held from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. at which time those who wish to share remembrances will be welcome.
