The following was composed by Arlene’s Family;

Arlene Antonazzi (nee Chalfin), aged 67, passed away on March 19th, 2024 at Abington Hospital after her battle with cancer. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, wife, and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her parents, Philip and Rosalyne Chalfin (nee Shapiro), her brother Alan Chalfin, and her husband John Antonazzi. She is survived by her brother Marc Chalfin (Susan), her children Rebecca Henrich (Dan), Jessica Kline (Josh Foster), and Joshua Kline (Alexandra) and her grandchildren Emmah, Camden, Dean, and Eliza.

Arlene was born on May 15th in Paterson, NJ. She grew up in Fort Lee and New Milford, NJ, where she graduated high school in 1974. She went on to attend Bridgeport University in Connecticut. Arlene spent time living in Florida, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Indiana. Wherever she went, her infectious smile and enthusiastic outlook made friendships quick and easy. She always found ways to connect with the people around her.

Most of all, Arlene cherished motherhood. She was always eager to take part in the lives of her children and grandchildren - attending school plays, sporting events, and holiday gatherings. She loved being the “goofy Gramma” with all four of her grandchildren and could often be found elbow-deep in glitter with the kids. In her free time, Arlene was a creative and endlessly enthusiastic crafter. She dabbled in everything from crocheting and scrapbooking to DIY home decor and jewelry making. Arlene was also passionate about the care and wellbeing of her furry friends. She spent time volunteering with multiple dog rescues and fostered dogs in her home.

A private memorial service will be held for invited family and friends. We ask that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Arlene’s name to Rylie’s Rescue, P.O. Box 1021, Skippack, PA 19474 the organization from which her beloved puppy Fawn was rescued.
