Kenneth Richard "Ken" Ambrose Jr., of Glenside, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the age of 49, surrounded by his family. Born on February 24, 1975, in Abington, Pennsylvania, Ken was the beloved son of Kenneth R. Ambrose Sr. and Linda M. (nee Kochmer) Mallen, along with her husband Gary. He leaves behind his wife, Sarah (nee Baker), and their two children, CJ and Eve Ambrose.

Ken grew up in Willow Grove and graduated from Upper Moreland High School before earning his bachelor's degree in political science from Temple University. It was at Temple where he met the love of his life, Sarah. Their union in 2001 marked the beginning of a beautiful journey together, filled with love, laughter, and two wonderful children.

Known for his passion for Philadelphia sports (except the Flyers), Ken was also deeply involved in his community, serving as a little league coach in Upper Dublin. His magnetic personality and genuine kindness endeared him to all who knew him. Whether he was leading a game of flag football or talking sports with friends, Ken's presence illuminated every room he entered.

Ken is survived by his brother, Jeremy Ambrose, and his wife, Jessica, as well as his nephew, Will Kennedy, and nieces, Emma, Elizabeth, and Danielle Ambrose. He is also remembered fondly by his sisters-in-law, Rachel Kennedy (Oliver) and Jessica Baker.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Ken's life at his visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. and memorial service at 11:00 A.M. at Keystone Fellowship Montgomeryville, 427 Stump Road, North Wales, PA 19454, on April 18, 2024. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an education fund that has being established for Ken and Sarah’s children. Donation can be made via Zelle to Bakerambrose@gmail.com or Venmo to @Ambrosefund-24.
