Elijah Renell DeLoach of Cheltenham, Pa suddenly passed away on May 22, 2024. He was 18 years old. He was born September 17, 2005 in Philadelphia PA to Renell DeLoach and Tina Pennington. He is the brother of Eliana DeLoach and grandson of Vicki DeLoach, Ronald DeLoach, and Teresa Pennington.

Elijah attended Myers Elementary, Elkins Park School, Cedarbrook Middle School, and Cheltenham High School.

Elijah attended Myers Elementary, Elkins Park School, Cedarbrook Middle School, and Cheltenham High School.

He was due to graduate June 5, 2024 before his life was tragically taken. Elijah worked as a landscaper with his father and was excited to begin navigating his adult life.

Elijah had an infectious smile and a great sense of humor. He could make friends easily but chose them wisely keeping a small circle. He enjoyed time with his family, close friends, and pets.

Elijah was fiercely protective of his little sister Eliana. She was looking forward to the day Elijah would be an uncle to her children and she would be an Auntie to his. He was always good with kids and she knew he would be an amazing uncle and father.

He had a close individual friendship with all of his cousins. Aynslie, Keegan, Shayla, Angel, Kelsie, DJ, Dejanna, Brielle, Kyree, and Makayla. He looked forward to meeting his youngest cousin Amir.

He will be deeply missed by his best friend/brother Shah'nir (Shiz). Also Isaiah (Izzy) and Sakye.

He enjoyed playing tug of war with his dog Mocha and snuggling his cats, Asylan and Leo (who he named after Leonardo Da Vinci).

Elijah and his laughter will be desperately missed by everyone who knew him.

We can't wait till the day we see him again.

A celebration of life will be held on June 9, 2024 at Bright Hall Lounge - Temple Ambler Campus, 580 Meetinghouse Road, Ambler, PA 19002.
