Josephine Kammerle of Philadelphia PA died on June 11th 2024. She was 73 years old. She is the wife of the late Carl Kammerle. She was born in Philadelphia PA to Pasquale Perazzo (deceased) and Helen Neville (nee: Kirkwood deceased). She is the mother of Susan Manser, grandmother of Joseph Manser and great grandmother to Paisley. She is the sister of the late Grace King and Herb. And sister of John Perazzo. She is also survived by 5 stepsisters.
Josie graduated from West Catholic girls high school in 1968. She worked in healthcare for most of her life as a registrar and office manager. She then tried her hand in office work at Bargain Thrift. Her final stop was working as a housekeeping assistant for the sisters of the holy Redeemer at Holy Redeemer health system on Huntington Pike in Meadowbrook PA until retiring in 2019.
Josie enjoyed traveling. She visited number of tropical Islands, took a cruise and loved going to the shore with Carl and her grandson Joey. She grew a vegetable garden in her backyard every year and flowers in the front, you were also sure to find her at the flower show each year.
A very large part of Josie's life was spent assisting her husband Carl with his photography whether it was assisting with his equipment, helping a bride pose and set up for her photos or strolling through gardens and Parks while he took pictures of flowers and the wildlife. They were like two teenagers in love you always saw them holding hands. On weekends during hockey season you would find her at the ice hockey rink rooting on her grandson as he played. She also enjoyed spending time playing with her great-granddaughter Paisley.
Fly high mom and please watch over Joe and Paisley. Say hi to the rest of the family tell them I miss them all and love them I'll see you again one day. We love you always.
