Alex was born October 2, 1967 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Roman Bednarsky and the late Lydia Bednarsky (nee - Maksymowych). He is the beloved husband of Paige Bednarsky; loving brother of Tony Bednarsky and his wife Donna, and Mary Bednarsky; brother-in-law of Philip Pappas, and Linda Valenzano and her husband Richard; uncle to Kathryn Zampese and her husband Trev, Peter Bednarsky and his wife Lauren, Andrew Bednarsky, and Stevo Bednarsky. Also survived by his great niece, Charlotte Bednarsky, and special friend/”adopted daughter” Renee Giannetti and her husband Joe.

Although an avid Phillies fan, Alex loved organizing baseball trips to Camden Yards to watch his beloved Orioles. He loved church, family and his cats. Although he always entered, he never won a chili contest. Everyone who knew him, knows how much he loved Debbie Gibson and Shania Twain.
