Lorraine was born September 22, 1937 in Abington, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late John N. McDowell and the late Nettie M. McDowell (nee - Uhlman). She is the loving mother of Keith Moylan and his wife Michelle, and Michele Hoffman and her husband Paul; grandmother of Shane Moylan and his wife Taylor, Kiersten Magee and her husband Jack, Nicholas Hoffman, and Lauren Hoffman; great grandmother of Quinn Moylan; and sister of Eileen Gibney. Her professional journey began at State Farm Insurance Company, where she honed her skills before transitioning to become a successful Prudential Insurance Agent, a role she excelled in until her well-deserved retirement.

Family was at the core of Lorraine's life, and she cherished the time spent with her four grandchildren, whom she adored. A familiar face at their activities, she could always be found on the sidelines, cheering them on with pride. Lorraine had a deep appreciation for the shore, finding solace and happiness in spending summers vacationing in Sea Isle with her family and friends. Her annual open house celebration on New Year's Day was a cherished tradition, filled with laughter and good times shared with family, friends, and neighbors to usher in the New Year.
