The following obituary was composed by Geoff’s family:

It is with a broken heart that we share that Geoffrey Anderson Molt, loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend passed away unexpectedly on the morning of Sunday, October 27th. Geoff forever displayed his undying love for his son Keaton and daughter Sophia. Geoff’s wife, Shara, lovingly referred to him as her Renaissance man, because he was exceptional at everything, the most creative person she ever met. Geoff loved the arts in all forms: painting, music; listening, playing and creating, cooking, gaming, graphic design, glass blowing, and drawing. He played the trumpet, piano, guitar, bass, drums, and saxophone. A consummate entrepreneur, Geoff would dive into new initiatives and master the domain. Above all, Geoff’s most cherished moments were sharing his love of art and gaming with his son Keaton and teaching him to embrace his creativity. Geoff and Keaton had a unique, beautiful bond that will forever be Geoff’s legacy. Geoff was forever Sophia’s protector, always in her corner, supporting her beliefs and wishes.

Geoff is survived by his wife, Shara Jill Molt (nee Prybutok); son, Keaton Jacob Molt; daughter, Sophia Dylan Stewart; mother, Joyce Weaver Paine; stepfather, Earl Paine; father, James Teunis Molt; stepmother, Judith Molt; younger sister, Kate Elizabeth Strong (nee Molt); brother-in-law, Ryan Strong; and niece, Haley Strong, along with many other step siblings, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his older brother, James Teunis Molt, Jr.

Geoff graduated from Wissahickon High School in 1996 and the Rhode Island School of Design in 2000 with a degree in Glass Blowing and Graphic Design.
