The following was written by Pete’s family:

Peter Karl Horsch, age 65, of Horsham, PA, passed away on October 18th, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on April 19th, 1960 in Northeast Philadelphia to the late Henry and Elfreida Horsch.

Pete is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Kimberly Horsch. He was a devoted father to his children, Samantha (Horsch) Cohen (Jordan), Alexis Horsch, Gabrielle Horsch, Christopher Raimondi (Summer) and Nicholas Raimondi; a cherished PopPop to his four beloved grandchildren, Brielle, Rosie, Declan, and Dean; a son-in-law to Beverly Chiodo, who he was very close with; and a brother to Klaus (Donna). He is also lovingly remembered by his sister and brother in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Raised in the Northeast section of Philadelphia, Pete graduated from Lincoln High School and went on to work with his brother, Klaus, in the construction field. Shortly thereafter, he began at Don Wasserman International, where several years later, he met his beloved wife, Kim. He ended his career at PD Home and Garden as a Warehouse Manager.

Family was the most important thing to Pete. He valued the time spent with them – relaxing at the beach, cook-outs, vacations, and holiday gatherings. Pete also had a love for being a handyman, whether it be working on his beloved Chevy Silverado, his yard and his home. He was always a phone call away from any project his kids thought he could tackle. Pete enjoyed the simple things in life; taking care of his dogs, enjoying sweet treats, an ice cold Coors Light, an Eagles victory, and countless trips to “Church”, AKA, Parx Casino.

Pete will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, love for family, and joking demeanor. He brought joy to everyone who knew him and leaves behind countless memories that will be cherished forever.

Family and friends were invited to celebrate Pete’s life on Wednesday, October 22nd, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. and a service beginning at 1:00 P.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA, 19090. Interment will be private.
