The following obituary was composed by Bob’s family:

Robert Boyce Stauffer formerly of Horsham, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at Fort Washington Estates. He was 94 years old.  Bob was born March 19, 1931 in Abington, PA, son of the late Clyde and Mabel (née Bennett) Stauffer. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years, Joan M (Redstreake) Stauffer and his daughter Cathy Ann. He is survived by his daughters Joanne McManus (Scott) and Karen Gowdy (Jim). He was the grandfather of TJ (Alyssa), Rob (Giselle), Lauren (Kory), Lindsey (Bryan), Janet (Jamie), Michael (former spouse Jennifer), Jeffrey (Brittany), and Jayson (Lauren); great grandfather of Quinten, Hunter, Ashley, Luke, Sofia, James, Sofia, and Karl, and great-great grandfather of Blakelynn and Oaklynn. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

Bob grew up in Willow Grove and attended Abington High School. He served in the Army/Air Force 1948-1952. After working many different jobs, he became a journeyman to learn plumbing and started his own plumbing business. In 1963, he became a Freemason. Over several years, Bob researched and compiled a complete history of the family all the way back to 1382.

Bob’s hobbies were fishing for blues, playing golf, woodworking and playing the stock market. While living in Horsham, he lovingly restored a 200-year-old farmhouse. He looked forward to his annual visits to Karen and Jim’s farm in Indiana. His super-power was being able to fix anything that was broken. He was known for his sly wit and ready smile. He will be missed by many.

Relatives and friends were invited to his visitation on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. and funeral service at 10:00 A.M. at Gwynedd Estates, 301 Norristown Road, Ambler, PA 19002. Interment was private.

Religious services were conducted by Rev. Seth Rogers from Gwynedd Estates.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Autism Speaks, 1060 State Road - 2nd floor, Princeton, NJ 08540.

Family flowers arranged by Domenic Graziano Flowers and Gifts 215-355-1550.
