Janet E. Mott of Kintnersville, Pennsylvania died surrounded by family on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Doylestown Hospital. She was 71 years old. Janet was born October 20, 1954 in Abington, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late John A. Boyd and the late Marion Boyd (nee - Miller). She is the beloved wife of Robert Mott; mother of Robert Mott, Jr. (Patti Cicero) , Sarah Mott (John Marroletti); Nana to Devyn Mott and Nora and Hannah Marroletti; sister of the late William Boyd and his wife Patricia and the late Jack Boyd and his wife Ginnie.

Janet and Bob met when they were both in 11th grade at Abington High School. They were married in 1976. They lived in Roslyn and when they purchased their home it just happened to work out out that they could see Janet’s parent’s house across the neighborhood. Janet and Bob have lived in their current home since 1982.

Janet lived for her three granddaughters and loved spending time with them; especially the weekends when all three of them were together. She loved the outdoors and wildlife and helped rehabilitate injured and orphaned animals. Janet always seemed to have an animal she was helping that especially connected to her and followed her as a parent.

Janet enjoyed going to Ocean City, New Jersey with her family, and loved to sit and watch the ocean. She enjoyed doing puzzles with her family, and even has many glued and framed. She loved her wildflower fields in New York, and was also very active at her church - St. Luke's United Church of Christ in Ottsville, PA.
