Gordon R. Lefever of Warminster, Pennsylvania died Thursday, October 23, 2025 at home at Ann’s Choice. He was 85 years old. Gordon was born January 4, 1940 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Elmer Gothic Lefever and the late Ruth Lefever (nee - Smith). He is the beloved husband of the late Arlene Janet Lefever; father of Terri Yates and her husband Steve, and Rick Lefever and his wife Ann; grandfather of Matt, Tony, Nicki, Emma, Will, and Katie; great grandfather of Claire, Eloise, and Arden.

Janet and Gordon met in the Fall of 1958 while singing together in the church choir at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Germantown. Gordon offered Janet a ride home after choir practice, and the romance began. The couple was married in July 1959 and enjoyed more than 57 years of marriage. They moved to Abington in April 1960, where they began raising their two children, Terri and Rick.

Janet and Gordon joined the First Presbyterian Church of Willow Grove and continued to sing in the choir at that church.

Janet and Gordon enjoyed many trips together to warm locations during cold winter months.

Janet and Gordon moved to Ann’s Choice in 2004 and continued to embrace their love of music and singing by participating in the chorus. Gordon loved being a 20 year resident of Ann’s Choice where he was a longtime member of the train club. Many new friendships were formed with residents and staff in the years that they lived there. The family is grateful for all of the care he received at Ann’s Choice.

Gordon was always giving of himself and his time for others and will be greatly missed.

Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. and funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at the chapel of Ann’s Choice, 10000 Ann’s Choice Way, Warminster, PA 18974. His graveside service followed at Sunset Memorial Park, 333 West County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.

Religious services were conducted by The Rev. Mindy Campbell pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Warminster, 500 Madison Avenue, Warminster, PA 18974.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Ann’s Choice Benevolent Care Fund, 20000 Ann’s Choice Way, Warminster, PA 18974.
