The following was written by Blazenka’s family.

Blazenka Knebl passed away on November 3, 2025 at her home in Abington Township,
Pennsylvania. She was 90 years old. Blazenka was born May 23, 1935 in Mitrovica, Yugoslavia,
the daughter of George and Josefine Hoffmann. She is survived by her loving husband, Stefan
Knebl; beloved mother of Gerlinda Kiska and her husband Michael; grandmother of Steven
Kiska and Lindsey Taylor and her husband Jake; great-grandmother of Vivienne Lynn; sister of
William Hoffmann.

Blazenka created a comfortable and happy home for her family. She always made time for her
grandchildren, babysitting them when they were young and attending school events as they got
older. They were the joy of her life. Diagnosed with late-stage cancer in early 2024, her wish was
to live long enough to see her first great-grandchild born. Happily, that wish came true with the
birth of Vivienne in August. Blazenka loved trips to the theater with her daughter, listening to
opera, gardening and reading. She was a wonderful cook and Christmas cookie baker. In recent
years, she developed a love of coloring books for relaxation, and her pictures were beautiful. She
will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia Church, 535 Rhawn Street, Philadelphia, PA 19111. Her graveside followed at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 West Cheltenham Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19150.
