Nancy J. Scheutz of North Wales, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Luther Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was 75 years old. Born on January 5, 1950, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Nancy was the daughter of the late Henry “Hank” J. Scheutz Jr. and the late Jean Scheutz (née Rexer).
Nancy devoted her professional life to the field of nursing, specializing in psychiatric nursing. She shared her knowledge and compassion as an educator, teaching psychiatric nursing at various medical and educational institutions throughout her career, where she was respected for her dedication to both her students and her patients. Nancy also served in many leadership roles in organizations of which she was a member.
In her free time, Nancy found joy in quiet acts of kindness. She loved crocheting blankets for a hospice program and took special care to send cards to people, offering thoughtfulness and encouragement in simple but meaningful ways.
She is survived by her extended family and friends, who will remember her for her generosity, gentle spirit, and commitment to helping others.
Services were private. A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
