Elaine S. Pierce of Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Jefferson Abington Hospital. She was 75 years old. Born on January 12, 1950, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Elaine was the daughter of the late Joseph Kipp and the late Clare Kipp (née McNichols). She was born, raised, and educated in Harrisburg, where she developed the compassion and dedication that would define her life and career.

Elaine was a graduate of Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital School of Nursing and proudly earned her degree in nursing. She worked for many years as a registered nurse, a profession she embraced with care, skill, and genuine concern for others. Even beyond her career, caregiving remained at the heart of who she was.

Elaine raised her family in Roslyn, Pennsylvania, where she devoted herself to her children and later her grandchildren. She was instrumental in the care of her granddaughters Carrie and Ellie, picking them up from daycare, spending countless hours with them, and, as all grandchildren knew well, spoiling them lovingly.

She cherished her close friendships, especially her long-standing book club with girlfriends from nursing school. Elaine also enjoyed quiet moments with crossword puzzles, Sudoku, and jigsaw puzzles—activities that reflected her sharp mind and love of learning.

Elaine was the beloved wife of the late Robert G. “Bob” Pierce. She is survived by her loving children: Amy Card (Mike), Sam Pierce, Amanda Doman (John), and Shannon Pierce; her cherished grandchildren: Mike, Amanda, Carrie, and Ellie; and her adored great-grandchildren: Miles and Audrey. She is also survived by her siblings Nora Raum (the late Tom) and Joseph Kipp, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Elaine was preceded in death by her sister, Clare Bozylinski.

Relatives and friends were invited to her visitation on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M., followed by a funeral service at 3:00 P.M., at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elaine’s memory to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, P.O. Box 91891, Washington, DC 20090-1891 www.nationalmssociety.org

Elaine will be remembered for her kindness, devotion to family, and the quiet strength with which she cared for so many throughout her life.
