Violet K. “Vi” Taubenberger, of Warrington, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 6, 2026, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She was 93 years old. Born August 26, 1932, in Abington, Pennsylvania, Vi was the daughter of the late Christian Taubenberger and the late Violet Taubenberger (née Reichle). She grew up in Willow Grove and attended Abington High School before graduating her senior year from Upper Moreland High School.

Vi began her career in sales with SPS in Glenside, where she dedicated many years of service. She had a deep love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed gardening and long walks. Vi also cherished traveling with her sisters, creating lasting memories on trips to Germany, Mexico, Canada, Portugal, Spain, Greece, and throughout South and Central America.

She is the beloved sister of Carol and Irene Taubenberger. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Heinz G. Taubenberger.

Relatives and friends were invited to attend her entombment on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 10:30 A.M. at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002.
* We will be forming a procession to the committal spot on the left driveway going toward the bell tower inside the cemetery at 10:15 A.M. We will head over to the committal at 10:30 A.M. Please plan accordingly.

Religious services were conducted by The Rev. Dr. Maurice Lee of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Abington.

Vi will be remembered for her love of family, her adventurous spirit, and her appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.
