Theodore C. “Ted” Sheppleman Jr., 74, of Sellersville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Jefferson Abington Hospital. Born September 7, 1951, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Theodore C. Sheppleman Sr. and Marian Sheppleman (née Arata). Ted was the beloved husband of the late Vicki Sheppleman and a devoted father to Keith Sheppleman and his wife, Jackie. He was a proud grandfather to Emma and Connor Sheppleman, and Samantha Kaplun and her husband, Vlad, and a loving great-grandfather to Jayden and Amelia Kaplun.
He was predeceased by his siblings Mary (Rick) Hartman and Louis Sheppleman. Ted is also survived by his siblings Greg (Ellen), Paul (Debbie), Beth (the late Chuck) Michael, Ginny (Bruce) Bender, Gert (George) Freas, Marian (Mark) McCouch, John (Lee) Sheppleman, Patty (Rick) Hartman, Connie (the late Randy) Lee, Stephen (Nicole), Mark (Melinda), and Michael (Lisa) Sheppleman, along with a large and loving extended family.
Ted married Vicki at St. Joseph’s Church in Horsham in 1971. A graduate of Archbishop Wood High School, Class of 1969, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1970 and served honorably with the Second Force Recon Unit until his discharge in 1975 with the rank of Sergeant. He worked as an auto mechanic for over forty years in Montgomery and Bucks counties.
Ted enjoyed shooting pool, bowling, paintball, long walks, and bike rides with his wife. He loved riding his Yamaha Virago and relaxing with a Budweiser. He was always willing to lend a hand on projects with family and friends and valued the camaraderie of his fellow Marines and his friends at the Elks in Wildwood.
Relatives and friends were invited to his viewings on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. and Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M., followed by a funeral service at 10:30 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA. Military honors were rendered by the United States Marine Corps, and interment followed at George Washington Memorial Park in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania.
Religious services were conducted by Fr. Richard S. McCouch, S.J.
