Marlene Moser MacKrell, age 88, of Hatboro, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Monday, May 25, 2026 in her home at Wesley Enhanced Living Upper Moreland. She was born on October 22, 1937 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Eugene P. Moser and the late Magdalena M. Moser (nee - Krauss).

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert MacKrell. Mother of Robert MacKrell and his wife Valerie, and Steven MacKrell and his wife Susan. Grandmother of Iliana and Matthew MacKrell. Sister of and her best friends Jeanette Camiolo and her husband Vince, and a loving aunt.

Marlene was born in Germantown Hospital and raised in the West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia. She graduated in the 1955 Class of Germantown High School. During her early working career Marlene was employed as a bookkeeper with Honeywell, Paramount Packaging, Delaware Valley Tube, and Quality Coach. From 1979-1984 she worked for the Warminster Tax Collector, before returning to bookkeeping at Mike Schmidt Hoagies, and R-2 Tape. Most recently she enjoyed working part-time at Hallmark from 2007 until 2016. Marlene was a resident of Warminster, PA from 1963 until 2016, when she moved to Upper Moreland. In her leisure time, she loved traveling, outings with her friends, game nights, and various social events.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, July 11, 2026 after 10:00 A.M. and to her memorial service at 11:00 A.M. at St John's Lutheran Church, 505 North York Road, Hatboro, PA 19040. Her interment will be held privately at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
