Marjorie A. "Margie" Schulcz, of Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Commonwealth Senior Living at Willow Grove. She was 84 years old. Born on November 26, 1941, in Abington, Pennsylvania, Margie was the beloved daughter of the late Morris H. "Barney" Schurr Jr. and the late Anna M. "Ann" Schurr (née Wall). She was raised in Hatboro and was a proud graduate of Hatboro-Horsham High School, Class of 1959.
Margie was the beloved wife of the late Michael A. Schulcz Sr., with whom she shared 40 wonderful years of marriage. She was a loving and devoted mother to Michael A. Schulcz Jr. and his wife, Aileen, Bryan Schulcz, and Douglas Schulcz. Nothing brought Margie greater joy than her family, especially her role as "Gram" to her cherished grandchildren: Ciera, Kelsey, Bryan Jr., and Brandon Schulcz. She is also survived by her cousin, Ginny Freas, as well as her late husband's extended family in California and New Mexico.
An only child, Margie was content spending time at home, yet she never hesitated to put the needs of those she loved before her own. Her sons and grandchildren were the center of her life, and she was always there to offer love, support, and encouragement.
Margie had a creative spirit and enjoyed crocheting, making crafts, and creating homemade candy. Her delicious treats earned her the affectionate nickname "the Candy Lady" among her many friends at the American Legion Post in Warminster, where she was a proud member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She found great happiness in sharing her talents with others, and her kindness and generosity touched many lives.
Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing on Monday, July 6, 2026 from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. and funeral service at 10:00 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. Her graveside service followed at Hillside Cemetery, 2556 Susquehanna Road, Roslyn, PA 19001.
Religious services were conducted by Rev. Owen Griffiths.
