William Villagran, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Jeanes Hospital. He was 60 years old. Born on June 11, 1966, in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. William was the beloved son of Irma Villagran. Raised and educated in Guatemala, he emigrated to the United States at the age of 18 to join his mother and begin a new chapter in life.

William worked as a skilled mechanic for many years at Carlos Perischilli Auto Repair Shop, where he was known for his strong work ethic, knowledge, and dedication to his craft. He had a lifelong passion for automobiles and enjoyed working on cars whenever he could.

On September 3rd,1994, William met the love of his life, Minerva Torres. It was love at first sight, and together they shared 31 wonderful years filled with love, laughter, and devotion. The couple was united in marriage in May 29th, 2010 at St. William Church.

William was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and family man. He is survived by his beloved wife, Minerva Torres; his loving children, William Villagran Jr., Nicholas Villagran, Stephanie Rivera, and Alicia Rivera; and his cherished grandchildren, Madison Rivera, Adalisse Rivera, Noah Barrios, Emmy Villagran, and Ava Villagran, who affectionately knew him as “Welo.” He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Josephine Cruz, along with many extended family members and dear friends.

Outside of work and family, William enjoyed watching soccer, football, baseball, and later in life became an enthusiastic hockey fan. He found great joy in nature, especially birdwatching and spending peaceful moments outdoors. Above all else, he treasured the time he spent with his grandchildren, creating memories that will be forever cherished.

William will be remembered for his kindness, dedication to his family, quiet strength, and the love he shared with all who knew him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 8:45 to 9:45 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. at St. William Church, 6200 Rising Sun Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111. His graveside service will follow at Hatboro Cemetery, 36 Fulmor Avenue, Hatboro, PA 19040.
