Michael Allan Pastor ("Mike") of Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Millennium Memory Care at Monroe. He was 68 years old. Born on June 23, 1958, in Philadelphia, Mike was the beloved son of the late Alvin Pastor and the late Maryann Pastor (née Rittenhouse).
Mike was the devoted husband of Christina Pastor for 40 wonderful years. He was a loving and incredibly proud father to Jason, Joshua, and Kristin Pastor, and a cherished grandfather to his grandson, Zion Pastor, who brought endless joy and laughter to his life.
He is also survived by his sisters, Lisa, Pearl, and Linda. Mike was predeceased by his siblings Tony, Alvin, Donna, Debbie, and Bobby. He also leaves behind many beloved in-laws, nieces, and nephews whom he considered an extension of his immediate family. His faithful canine companions, Lucky and Lily, who were always close by, miss him dearly.
Born, raised, and educated in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia, Mike never missed an opportunity to tell stories about "his neighborhood" and the adventures and antics of his youth. A lifelong Philadelphia sports fan, Mike was happiest cheering on the Eagles from the speakeasy next door and proudly supporting Penn State football every season. In his younger years, he loved playing football, and that competitive spirit stayed with him throughout his life.
Mike dedicated much of his career to the HVAC industry, where he worked as a foreman and took great pride in mentoring and teaching those entering the trade. Throughout his career, he worked for M. Kelley & Sons, Integrity Mechanical, Clima-Design, and several other respected companies, earning the admiration of coworkers through his strong work ethic and willingness to share his knowledge.
Mike found happiness in life's simple pleasures. He enjoyed watching history programs, classic westerns, and military movies. A true "guy's guy," he loved working around the house, fixing just about anything, and always had another project underway. Family and friends knew they could count on him whenever they needed a helping hand.
He also loved bringing people together. Whether he was cooking for family and friends, hosting backyard barbecues, or offering cash prizes to the kids after spirited basketball games, Mike found great joy in creating memories and making those around him smile.
More than anything, Mike will be remembered for his generosity, his loyalty to family and friends, and the pride he took in those he loved. His stories, laughter, advice, and unwavering willingness to help others will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Relatives and friends were invited to his visitation on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 12:00 to 1:20 p.m., followed by a celebration of his life at 1:30 p.m. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046.
