Jonathan Frederick Pera of Maple Glen, Pennsylvania died Friday, July 17, 2026 at Jefferson Abington Hospital. He was 77 years old. Jonathan was born April 29, 1949 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Jonathan J. Pera and the late Zarifa Pera (nee - Rustam). He is the beloved husband of Pamela J. Pera; father of Jonathan N. Pera and his wife Ashley and Alexandria Pera-Lilly and her husband Shane Lilly; grandfather of Olivia and Luke Pera and Sadie Lilly; brother of Charlotte Tor and her husband Bob and Martha Turkeheimer and her husband Harold Turkheimer; uncle of Chris Tor, Jonathan Tor, David Turkheimer, and Joanne Turkheimer.
Commonly known as Fred to friends and family.He attended Germantown High School and graduated from Hatboro-Horsham High School in 1967.
He served in the United States Army during Vietnam from December 1968 until his honorable discharge on July 15th,1970 having reached rank SP4.
Jonathan was self-employed---Owner of Jonthan F. Pera Hardwood Floors for over 50+ years.
Jonathan resided in Maple Glen with his wife of 43 years.
His passion was riding his Harley Davidson's and taking trips out west with his friends. You could always find him enjoying a cheese steak from places like Ninos Pizza! His most favorite thing of all was relaxing at home and spending time with his family.
He will be missed by his family and friends!
Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing on Monday, July 20, 2026 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. and funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090.
Religious services were conducted by Rev. Owen Griffiths.
