Joseph John Haydt of Philadelphia PA passed away on August 28, 2026. He was 77 years old. He was born on August 11,1949 in Philadelphia to Winifred (nee Bartaby) and Frederick Haydt. Joe was predeceased by one brother, Frederick Jr and one sister, Anne Ferrari both of Philadelphia. Joe is survived by one nephew, Joseph Ferrari, and his wife Sarah and children along with numerous cousins across the country and the world.
Joe was a 1967 Graduate of Cardinal Dougerty High School and earned a BA degree in Literature at La Salle University in 1971.
Joe worked in the Computer Operations Center for Conrail for many years, as well as for the IRS.
Joe will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Relatives and friends were invited to his visitation on Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. and Memorial Mass at 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia Church, 535 Rhawn Street, Philadelphia, PA 19111. Internment will be at a later date at the discretion of the family.
Donations in his memory may be made to The Pennsylvania SPCA, 350 East Erie Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19134.
